1940 Ford Standard 2 Door Sedan - Exceptional Condition: An Original Survivor - sympathetic, partial restoration with many period upgrades. Ready to Enjoy! 1946 Mercury block w/all the hot rod stuff and twin carb intake, Fenton Headers, Stromberg #97 Carbs, Mallory ignition, Potvin cam Hand H flathead air cleaners, Electric fuel pump built into the ignition. 6 volts positive ground, Original locking steering wheel, Wide white 600-16 bias ply tires, Deluxe V8 caps and trim rings, Dual exhaust with Smitty mufflers and Ford deflectors. Complete brake job matching shoes to drum, new gas tank, original gauges and steering wheel. Old school tachometer on the dash. All new interior, new tinted glass, front bumper guards, rust free all steel body, rust free floors and mounts. Excellent grill, bumpers and bright work, all stock 1940 suspension. Title matches the VIN on the frame rail, jack and spare tire included. Paint is excellent quality black base with clear coat about five years ago. Only 64K+ original miles on the clock. There is a heater in the car, but it is not attached to the cooling system. I have another brand new heater and the control switch to go on the dash. The rear license plate is an original I bought and had refurbished. The front plate is a fiberglass copy. The drive train, tranny and rear end are, so far as I know, original but have been inspected and serviced. The clutch has been rebuilt. Still available at ListedBuy!
