With a compression ratio of 9.25:1, the Super 88 engine was rated by the manufacturer at 240 horsepower. The engine in this Super 88 is claimed to be original to the car and the engine is said to start immediately, without smoke, after the accelerator is pumped twice. the carburetor has been rebuilt. The Hydra-Matic transmission is described as changing gears properly. The engine bay is stock and appears spotless. free of rust.
