Chevrolet changed much of the body lines from the more wilder 1959\'s. The new look for 1960 suited the glamorous top of the line Impala, as Chevrolet reshaped and separated the bat wing tail fins, and added three round tail lights to the rear. More features included a short molding strip extending back from the headlamps, twin pairs of bar molding above and below the fender strip, the quarter panel missile ornaments had two moldings streaking rearward, and the area between them was filled with a white insert and Impala script.
