ThisJaguar was treated to a full restoration beginning in 2008 andcompleted in 2011, and although done some years ago, the car stillpresents as a fresh restoration. The paint and bodywork areexcellent, displaying consistent panel fit and a smooth glossyfinish. Sparkling chrome wire wheels set off the beautifulOpalescent Silver Blue color. The interior is trimmed in beautifuldark blue leather, matching carpets, polished wood-rim steeringwheel, and proper factory-style vinyl on the sills and door cards.Powered comes from a 4.2-litre XK inline-six, with both the engineblock and cylinder head stampings matching factory productionrecords. The undercarriage is authentically detailed,and while it shows signs of regular use, it is tidy and clean, withupdates including an aluminum radiator and stainless-steel exhaust.Records on file include restoration summaries and receipts, as wellas the JDHT Heritage Certificate.
