1967 Oldsmobile Toronado, 7.0 Liter 425 Cubic Inch 385 HorsepowerV8 Engine Cast Iron with 4 Barrel Carburetor, 3 Speed TH-425Automatic Transmission, Hideaway headlights! Front Wheel Drive.Double snorkel air cleaner. Steel factory valve covers. Cast-ironexhaust and intake manifolds, vacuum advance and points. PowerWindows. Power steering. The equal-length half shafts, & inner CVjoints were patented by John DeLorean for use in the rope-driveTempest in order to resist acceleration squats. In the Toronado, they helped eliminate torque steer. The passenger-side half shaftused a rubber damper to absorb vibrations. The taillights arerectangular & run the entire width of the rear of the car, with thelicense plate in the middle. The dual exhausts come out two notchesin the bottom of the beautiful rear chrome bumper. Front and rearbumpers are recessed in the body, there is no brace sticking outcausing the bumpers to be out away from the car. This creates asmooth, aerodynamic & dynamic look. Both front and rear bumpers, wraparound. Power windows, both front and back. Beautiful verticalrib stitched door panels with buttons & grab handles. Split benchseat, two-tone blue cloth with a vinyl section in the middle andfold out armrest. The interior shows wear and tear and is original, yet elegant and designed well. The Toronado has a very uniquedash/gauge cluster design. The main feature is two chrome slantedfins, with the steering wheel and steering column centered in themiddle. This curves off at the bottom to the left, and to theright. The gauge assemblies are not only recessed but have slanteddown rectangular bezels. One of our favorite stock factory designedsteering wheels, it resembles an airplane "yoke" in the middle with4 horizontal inverted "V" spokes connected by chrome curves.Painted steel dash. The vinyl dash pad is in very good condition. Aside body flare connects flared out upper wheel well sections onfront and rear wheels, almost like a Corve
