Bespoke Gray Khakipaint is a fitting finish to the Wide-Side hauler and its handsomestyling that the GMC division shared with its Chevrolet C10corporate cousins. GMC moved their logo to the center of the grilleon '68 models and LED lights tucked into the front bumper augmentfour cross beams. This build also includes reproduction twinwipers, dual mirrors, side markers, and tail light lenses which addfactory style to the smooth sheet metal. Interior appointments are a step up from the Super-Custom packagewith a blend of period-correct mods and original equipment.Embossed door panels with woodgrain accents and a quilt stitchbench seat join a wood-rimmed sport steering wheel on an Ididittilt column and a floor shifter with brushed aluminum shift knobfor comfort and control. Intellitronix gauges in a reproductioninstrument panel augment capability in late-'60s style. Powerwindows, a Bluetooth stereo with amplifier and subwoofer deliver,and Vintage Air climate control deliver convenience and 4-seasonentertainment. An LT4 twin-screw supercharger and a direct fuel-injected L83 V-8engine combine forces under the domed hood. The potent pairingteams up with a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission thatdispatches blown LT-series power to the pavement. The engine isbolted up between the frame rails of a new, full powder-coatedRoadster Shop chassis equipped with rack-and-pinion steering,double a-arm independent front suspension and a 4-link rear. Baerbrakes with Hydroboost lurk behind American Racing wheels withspinners fitted with BF Goodrich G-Force tires for maximumgrip.
