This 1969 Volkswagen Kombi custom microbus is the recipient of acomplete rotisserie restoration, well-documented by photos of allstages. The engine was replaced and upgraded with a rebuilt 1500cc52hp 4-cylineder engine with new parts and backed by a new 4-speedmanual transmission. Very few miles were added after restoration;only enough to move the car while shipping and to be photographedfor auction. Parts that could not be reused were removed andreplaced by new ones. The services included replacing frontsuspension with new parts, replacing old drum brakes by new frontdisc brakes of a newer model and rear brakes, all-new electrical(including complete wiring harness, headlights and taillights, anda new electronic ignition), new exhaust system, new fuel tank, fuelpump and fuel line, new clutch system, new parking brake, clutchand accelerator cables, and steering box rebuilt with new parts.The exterior features new rearview mirrors as well as new moldingsand emblems. Door locks were revised and replaced where necessary.New weatherstrip seals and all-new glass was installed, theinstrument panel was revised and parts were replaced wherenecessary, and windshield wiper was revised. All fluids have beenreplaced. It is finished in a red and brown color combination as atribute to the Volkswagen bus made in Germany in 1958. The completepaint job included the undercarriage. The interior has completelynew upholstery and new carpet. ** PREVIEW
