GT6 convertible Project car � �Shadow� 1970 GT6 Convertible - for sale Car comes with a clear Texas Title. Should be transferrable in any state. Titled as 1970 GT6. Car is right hand drive Car is currently Texas titled, Texas registered and fully legal to be driven on the street. Car is still in project car status. It runs, It drives, It stops, but there are still bugs to work out. Needs alignment, needs creaks and clunks investigated, etc. Brought to the USA in boxes from UK by a GI upon discharge from military about 20 years ago. I purchased about 10 years ago after he lost interest in completing the project. This was a challenge. There were boxes and more boxes. Nothing was labeled. Many of the parts were unusable after sitting around in a leaking storage building for a decade. Body Body was rust free. Floor pans, boot flooring, boot lid, rear valance, inner and outer sills, all replaced. Bonnet that came with the project was a MKII and not very straight. I sourced a very straight MKI bonnet and had the body shop add Le Mans vents using the Canley Classic web site template.Body professionally painted with 2 coat paint � Triumph code 68 �slate gray� NOTE - The doors do not have glass installed. The MKIII spitfire glass panels and inside door glass mechanics are included with car. Two GT6 MKII doors complete with glass and vent windows are also included. Soft top frame is included with sale An unfinished unrestored (complete with original rear glass) hard top is included with sale. Frame is from a MKII GT6 (rotoflex) it was rust free and painted light gray with hammerite paint. All NEW Interior MKI GT6 seats fitted with Shadow blue re-upholstery kit form Rimmer Bros MKI GT6 center trim panels/arm rest installed (Shadow Blue) Rear panel , door panels, wheel arches � all are Shadow Blue. Carpet � Shadow Blue molded carpet set Center radio support (H support) custom fitted from MKII GT6. Electrics Wiring loom purchased from. Still available at ListedBuy!
