I dont think you will be able to take an Indy car home so this might be the closest you can get. This classic 1980 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am has an awesome look. These cars were cool stock and even cooler is that this one was an official pace car! That doesnt mean it just has the right stickers. That means this car led the way around the track in front of thousands of viewers. The car comes with all the original documentation, build sheet, brochures, and the ticket stub from race day. The paint is all original and is unique to these particular cars. The body is all coated in White with a Gun Metal Gray roof that is all accented with Red and Black pin striping. The shaker hood has the correct Black and Red Firebird logo along with the correct Turbo emblems on the hood scoop. All the other correct graphics are in place as well as the side scoops. The 2 dual square headlights are iconic of this year and in addition to the rear light bar work just as they should. The car is very well cared for only being driven on very nice days just a couple times a year. It does however get all of its tune ups and oil changes to insure it lasts for years to come. With only 43,000 original miles on this all original car this would be a great one to add to the collection. It has a nice solid stance and rides on the correct aluminum wheels even down to the Indy 500 Firehawk tires. The 4.9 Liter Turbo V8 runs very well and has no issues. The motor was recently pulled and entirely repainted for a nice clean look. It received all new gaskets and was checked over. The turbo still works like new as well as the turbo lights. The automatic transmission shifts like new and in perfect timing. The car came from the factory with power steering but was optioned out with much more. These options include the heavy duty battery, cruise control, deck lid release, electric rear window, additional insulation, extra lamps, power antenna, power door locks, tilt column, and more. The car runs down the road very well with no problems. The interior on the car is also in good condition and finished out in two tone Gray. The seats and door panels are in a lighter gray with the dash and carpet all darker. The bucket seats are extremely comfortable and look like new. The Dark Gray center console houses the shifter and power window controls. The dash and shifter bezel are accented with matching aluminum pieces which give it a nice look. As we said before the car is all original so all the gauges, knobs, and switches are in place from the factory and working as they should. The only issue on the entire car is the tach which is frozen at 3500 rpm. As with the rest of the car all the necessarily Firebird logos are in place and even embroidered into the back seat. This is a great driving car that gets tons of attention. You will get a thumbs up wherever you drive it. Not only will you love cruising around in the car but you will love sharing its story. This piece of history can find a home in your garage for only $25,500.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $19,900.00!
