1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Odometer reads 64,500 miles1980 TriumphSpitfire 1500. Odometer reads 64,500 miles. Clean title in hand.Has various modifications from stock including a Weber 32/36 carb,header, exhaust system, luggage rack, Panasport alloys, and achrome front bumper from a '79. In addition, the car has had theseats replaced along with the door panels. I've also added avintage Momo Indy steering wheel which feels great along with aRetroSound stereo which has Aux and Bluetooth.Runs cool and startsright up even in hot weather. The carb was just recently added.Also has electronic ignition which makes the car run wonderfully.Alternator has also been rebuilt and charges well. Brake system hasbeen completely gone through with the addition of braided brakelines and a new master cylinder. Doesn't burn oil and idles smooth.Clutch feels good and it shifts well. It's a very easy car to driveand everything works including lights and gauges. Corners well andis an extremely fun car on twisty roads. These are remarkably easyto work on and the simplicity makes fixing issues veryapproachable. Also, parts and information on these are availableeverywhere.I have very little information on what went into thecars restoration but know that it had a repaint and an engine andtrans rebuild. Axle U-joints make some noise and and so does thedifferential. Paint is by no means perfect and has a few chipswhich I've included photos of. Windshield has a small chip. Thereis some rust peeking through in the rear door sills which is in thepictures. Drivers side floor pan also has a very small amount ofrust.The car comes with an extra engine with 40,000 miles. Also hada hardtop that would need repainted along with a modern gearreduction starter that just needs some installed.
