1989 Ford F350 Crew Cab DuallyExteriorA respray in the original Dark Shadow Blue covers the long steelpaneled protruding rear fenders crew cab truck. The panels arestraight and the paint presents well with a shiny finish, but doeshave some chips, dings, and runs in the finish. Breaking up the seaof blue is a wide stripe of white paint laid onto the sides at thebelt line with light blue pinstriping above and black plasticchrome trimmed guards below. An ever so slightly dingedchrome frontbumper looms below the chrome trimmed gray painted Ford blue ovalbadged grille. Outboard of this grille are aerodynamic combinationheadlights and turn signals with clear lenses all around. 4 doorsallow for easy access for you and your passengers and large chrometowing mirrors are dressing up the front two doors. The bed showswith a black plastic drop in bedliner and shows use which istypically what one would do with a truck. We note the addition of a5th wheel plate for when you want to haul those heavy loads aswell. A louvered tailgate with a V-cut top, to allow room for the5th wheel trailer, looms above another shiny chrome bumper completewith a 2" high receiver. Both of these towing options are ready togo with each being wired for lighting and brakes. 16-inch 8 wheelnut chrome dishes are upfront, and on the rear are the dual reversedish shiny 8 wheel nut dual accommodating wheels. We note somedamage on one of the rear wheel simulators. These are framed aboveby a large fender bump out which also serves to keep the bed atnormal dimension whilst covering the outboard wheels. Overall anice presentation for a big rig style hauler for the commonman.InteriorWith all 4 doors swung open we see gray broadcloth covered benchesboth front and rear, providing room for you and 5 of your friends.These seats remain in very good condition with only light age useand soiling. The original dash and door panels show some wear andstaining but are in overall good condition with the doors beingboth power window and power lock equipped. To the left of the gaugecluster, we note the headlight and wiper switches, and to the rightare warning lights for the glow plugs and water in the fuel.Further to the right is a SONY AM/FM/Cassette capable stereo andthe heater/AC dials. Lightly soiled blue carpeting is down and uphigh, covering the expansive roof is a tight and clean graybroadcloth headliner.DrivetrainA big 7.3 liter non-turbochargeddiesel V8 with fuel injection and aC6 3-speed automatic transmission have been installed by thefactory. These appear to be original, and in original conditionshowing some patina, corrosion, and overall dusty. A Ford 10.25"limited slip 4.10 rear is noted but only in the rear. Shes a 2wdboys! Per our consignors notes we see a new lift pump for theengine along with a recent oil change, belts and filters. Thetransmission has been treated to a new neutral safety switch, afluid exchange, and a new filter. Also the air conditioning systemhas a new pulley, clutch, and clutch solenoid.
