The hard top was removed anddismantled. All body attachments inside and out were removed from the body -including doors, hood, fenders, hinges, roll bar, seats, bumpers, all attachments, etc.After disassembling, 108 individual parts were sealedwith self-etching primer for the ultimate rust protection. Each part was hand sandedbefore painting to assure the ultimate smooth finish. All body parts whereindividually painted before reassemblyacrylic enamel paint was used. Roll bar, seatframes, is repainted as well as the entire interior, instrument panel,glove box door, ashtray, air filter housing, Hood hooks, gas line cover are powdercoated, Emblems where replaced with new. Turn signals where replaced with new. Topand front grill was refinished to new condition.The FJ40 interior received new seat upholstery, new seals around doors. Dash pullknobs are all refinished as well as rear heater is bead blasted and refinished.Hardware: All nuts/bolts and much of the FJ40 hardware is re-plated to its originalfactory look with a non-corrosive yellow zinc plating.
