This car received a complete engine rebuild in 2000 at 24151 kilometer by Paul Russell, the preeminent 300SL Restoration house in the country. Car has 1149km since the rebuild. Other work performed by Paul Russell:Rebuilt fuel injection pump, rebuilt starter,, generator, air controller, water pump, restore fuel tank, replace all fuel hoses, rebuild fuel pump, restore radiator, replace oil tank, all new coolant hoses, all new wiring harness, rebuild brake booster. This car is an older restoration but still shows very well. Car recently received all new brakes and a full tune up. Engine is an original Mercedes factory replaced motor #1980101097150. Car comes with a copy of the original Mercedes data card. This is a very impressive and solid driver with an extensive and complete mechanical overhaul from Paul Russell 1149 kilometer ago.
