1960 Chevrolet Biscayne (Impala)

Used 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne
Own a piece of Chevrolet history with this 1960 4-door Chevy Biscayne / Impala. Basically they are the same car. The Biscayne was the Plain Jane one, and the Impala was all dressed up.Couldn't afford a classic car from Barrett Jackson or Russo & Steele? Well, here's a value-priced treasure just for you at a fraction of the cost. This beauty has a straight body and a beast of an engine that turns heads when driven down the street. It's loud and basically a bad ass-sounding car. It has classic white paint with aqua interior and beautiful wrap-around glass. She also has those incredible bullet rear tail lights. The interior is in decent shape, but obviously would need to be redone if wanting a fully-restored vehicle. Both the engine and the transmission were rebuilt within the past two years. The motor, a 327 with automatic (power glide) transmission, has low miles and purrs like a kitten. The upgrades to the engine include: Hooker headers, Glas Pac mufflers, Edelbrock high rise manifold, Mallory ignition, mild lopping cam, and Carter 650 CFM carburetor. She's a real sleeper and will move when you put the pedal to the floor. As this beauty is 52 years young, she needs a little facelift and is missing a few pieces of chrome, along with some of the name and badge trim. When we bought it, there were a few things that needed to be done to get her running right. We installed a new starter, brake pads, calipers, and master cylinder. We also did a total system flush with new fluid. She also has a new battery and there are no starting issues. We took a video this afternoon of the car while it was running.
