This little cruiser has a 1798cc (1800) engine with 162.5 hp, 4-speed and power front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, triple windshield wipers, and the sought-after overdrive option. The car has the factory AM/FM/Cassette radio, and the convertible top is new. This 1979 MGB MK III Convertible has a white exterior over black interior with a new black soft top, crystal clear windows, as well as a toneau cover in super shape, a boot that's in great shape, AND there is a car cover! The strong engine runs dependably and smoothly, the transmission is very nice, the brakes are excellent, the exhaust system sounds good, and the Pirelli tires are new. The car is fun to drive, hugs the turns, and has a very tight shift pattern. This sports car can be a daily commuter or an open top weekend traveler. Title is clear, (never in an accident), and the vehicle shows and drives beautifully. This baby recently passed its smog test with flying colors. It has a new clutch master cylinder and line, and it has all of the little things some MGB's are missing! It has the cigarette lighter, speakers, all the knobs and cranks, working visors, the carpet is in great shape, the seats and center console are in good condition (just one imperfection on the passenger headrest and a small crack in the dashboard cover), the lights are good and are all working (even in the trunk!), very nice MGB emblems are all present, as is the original MGB gas cap, the coin tray is new, the windshield wipers are great, even the clock works!!! There is the proverbial box of (many) extra parts, and the Complete MGB Manual is even included! This MGB starts up every time, even if it has been left parked for a month! It gets good gas mileage, it never leaks, and the paint is in good shape. This car has been loved and cared for all of it's life. NADA values this car at $9400, and Haggerty's value is almost $8000. It is in very good condition, and will go fast at only $4100! You can tell from the photos that this is a car to be admired.
