This two owner Carrera Targa was ordered as a US Spec. Tourist delivery, picked up at the factory in Stuttgart in April 1986. They then traveled 1,731 miles, seeing the sights of Europe, before returning it back to the factory to be prepped for shipment to their US dealer. There it received its first major service, valve adjustment, oil/filter change, and the full pre-delivery service, before being presented once again to its owner.Built with M-158, Monterey stereo, M-241 shorter shift travel, M-395 Fuchs forged light alloy wheels 16x6 & 7, M-533 alarm system, M-900 Tourist delivery, and C0-2, US spec emissions, it is still quite original. Wearing 100% of its fine Guards Red paint, its only deviation from stock was the upgrade to 1987 headlights, which are OE spec as well.This car has continually been officiously serviced at the highest levels throughout it's life. Recently it has had the transmission and clutch returned to like new specs, its air conditioning upgraded to improved standards, heating/exhaust system rebuilt and detailed, a thorough valve adjustment, new ox and temp sensors, 60 k. mile major tune up, new tires, 4 wheel alignment, brake caliper rebuild, brake rotors/pads, brake hoses,front and rear struts/shocks, new fuel lines, calibrated injectors w/ new seals, fresh targa top seals, and a thorough concour engine detail!There truly are not many cars at this level of quality...Ready to once again, offer a very close to new car experience to its next lucky owner. www.aicauto.com
