Description:
This van is equipped with a fully functional Braun wheelchair lift. The lift is a bus-class item that is really heavy duty. It also has a wheelchair latch on the floor. It has a raised roof. I am 5' 10" tall and I can stand fully upright inside the van.Here is more good stuff:The tires are in great shape. About 80 - 90% of the tread is remaining.There is no significant rust on the body.The brakes are good.The entire steering front end has recently been replaced.Now the bad:The engine smokes. My mechanic says that the valve guides need replaced. That job will probably cost about $800.The transmission shifts well, but it has a slow leak. It looks like it needs a new pan gasket. That is probably a $150 job if you don't know how to do it yourself.The body has "Advanced Wheelchair Transport" in 5" letters on both sides. I do not think that will matter much.If you do not need this for handicap transportation, it could be easily converted to a camper.I am asking $999 for this vehicle. The lift alone is worth about $2000. However, the lift and van go together. I will consider trades.
