I'm the 4th owner of this beast, having purchased it in California as a single bachelor in 2006, but I just started a family and moved to Brooklyn with my wife and newborn son, and as you can imagine, living in NYC, a luxury car is exactly that, a LUXURY, especially when you have a kid. I erroneously labeled it a Euro-spec in the post title but one of the fine experts in these forums have clarified that it's US. (thanks JohnAnthony)The M5 has been garaged for about 4 years since I brought it to the east coast and it is currently still at my mom's in Central Jersey where I take it for an occasional spin to stretch her legs, ergo the low mileage. I have a 2000 honda civic hatchback my family uses for day to day.Mechanically the car has no major modifications and is in excellent condition, save for a timing issue I just discovered after running a full diagnostic last week. Everything else is pretty stock except for the speakers. I also put in a brand new clutch and transmission about a year and a half ago. No major accidents ever, clean history. I can email the Carfax Report upon request. I have to sell this car because the insurance alone is $500 a month because I live in Brooklyn (even though the car is garage in NJ).Being a 12 year old car, it has some wear and tear so be sure to read the descriptions below. I've accounted for minor work that may need to go into the vehicle into the price. I don't have a BMW mechanic here that can do a lot of minor repairs at a decent rate, so I'm not planning on doing any further repairs before selling private party, but for anyone that knows someone that can service it, this is really is a deal.
