***$4,000.00 cash. I will not take any other form of payment. The KBB value for this car is $6,200 in excellent condition. Mine has cosmetic and mechanical issues (but still drives), so please read the entire description and email me with any questions.***I'm selling my 2002 Honda Accord EX Coupe in silver. This is the 4cyl "vtec" version and has an automatic transmission. The car has just over 94,000 miles. The car is in 8/10 cosmetic condition and has some body damage (front left corner/light slightly damaged and rear left quarter panel needs to be smoothed a bit). It works and drives almost perfectly, but does have one mechanical issue--it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd gear and sometimes from 2nd to 3rd gear. Other than this, it works great. I've driven it for nearly 2 years with this problem, and it hasn't gotten any worse. That being said, I'm going to be selling the car as-is, where is. The car needs transmission work to function properly again. I am not trying to represent this car as working normally, because it does not. I had the transmission flushed (not the flush-machine kind, the less harmful flush, can't recall the proper term) when it first started shifting hard, but it did not really help anything. I currently drive the car daily to and from work (~15 miles total per day), so the mileage will be a little different depending on when you come and see the car. I have learned to drive around the shifting problem honestly, but I've finally paid the car off and want to get into something newer. If you're mechanically inclined, or like to flip cars, here you go! This Honda has only 94,000 miles...the engine runs beautifully, and once you service the transmission, it will easily go to 250,000K. I've already taken care of the timing belt replacement (at 90K miles, $900 service), so you don't have to worry about that. See below for the major points about the car: - Car has 94,000 miles, I purchased it at 40,000 miles. - Color is silver, paint in good condition on 90% of the car. - I've owned it since January 2006, and have been in 2 accidents in the car--both of which were very minor (and not my fault!). There is slight body damage to the passenger-side corner of the front bumper (mainly the rubber bumper itself, not much metal damage). The front right headlight somehow cracked a bit on the inside but the outside light shell did not crack or break. Light still works perfect fine and is not otherwise damaged. The second accident damaged the right door, and this was replaced and re-painted (you can slightly tell the difference in paint, which is to be expected from the insurance-suggested auto place). There is one third spot of very, very minor panel damage on the driver's side rear quarter. - Transmission issues--shifts hard from 1st gear to 2nd gear. Otherwise works great, and it's been my daily driver for 4-5 years.- REGULAR Maintenance performed; had the timing belt changed at 90K miles as well as transmission flush around 65K miles. Oil changes every 3500 miles. Next oil change due at 94,7XX miles. - 2 Tires have about half tread left and 2 tires could use replacing in the next year or two.- Interior in excellent condition, 9.5/10. The steering wheel has a bit of leather-wear on the top. 6-Disc CD changes works great, sound system is in great working condition (it's stock to the EX trim level, but it really does sound fantastic). Back seat sat in maybe 20 total times over 6 years. - Includes original manual, 2 keys- Really a great car, if it weren't for the transmission, I'd be keeping it for another 6 years/100K miles. Please contact me to set up a time to come and see the car. Please understand this car has issues. While it does run and drive fine, the transmission shifts hard from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd gear (sometimes worse than others). I was told this could range anywhere from $800-$1,800 to repair by Amco. I'm asking $4,000 for the car. You could repair the transmission and have an extremely reliable, low-mileage 2002 Accord.
