Here is an amazing karman ghia convertible 73 restored. This car has been used for an advertising at drylake close to los angeles. No worries, the day after it has been completely cleaned to remove the salt.
I spent $6000 (i got all invoices) on this car the last 5 months to restore it!!

This car is really nice and each time we drive it, everybody is surprised by the beauty of it.
It has an amazing metal color, glossy not a cheap bodywork on it!. It has been painting 4 months ago and after the painting the car went shop to shop to get it restored: engine, interior, exterior...
The engine compartment has been completely sanded and sprayed with protecting coat. Then the engine has been put back in the car and all the wires have been rewired properly. The same thing has been done for the front trunk: sanded, and well sprayed
Here is the main list of the parts which have been restored or changed:
Exterior:
- Painted 4 month ago including the bumpers
- Stainless steel Rims,
- Wheel Hubs,
- 4 brand new tires,
- Lenses,
- All bows have been changed
- New Top convertible: Canvas not the vinyl + new headliner and padding
- All body and window rubbers
- Customized Side mirror painted according to the color of the car
Interior:
- Steering wheel customized
- Complete interior carpet kit in grey: 23 pieces
- Complete customized interior including seats and door panels: Grey and the color of the car
- The carpet of the trunk has been customized by the upholstery shop
- Red seat belts according to the color of the car
- The dashboard has been customized too: Vinyl on the top and the rest has been sanded and painted according to the color of the car
Mechanical / Electrical(12V)
- Brakes pads front & back, master cylinder, lines front to back, hoses, wheel cylinders.
- Brand new battery
- Brand new Starter
- Brand new alternator Alternator
- Chrome Electronic Ignition
- Red plug wires
- Halogen headlights Hella
- Original 1600 Engine completely rebuilt. A lot of chrome pieces added for esthetics
- Transmission checked and oil changed
- All electrical work: turn signal, lights of dashboard...
Most of the chrome parts are NOS (headlight ring, taillight's, door handle, dash knobs, indicator's, door window chrome trim...).
I got a clear californian title in hand but the car is currently not registered due to the fact that I reserve the right to sell it overseas. However it will be registered at the new owners name with myself at the DMV if sold in the US(i will pay for that or deducted from the $14000)
