This 1951 Ford F-1 pickup was given a bare-metal cosmetic restoration in the early 2000s. A subsequent mechanical overhaul included a rebuilt 239ci flathead V8 and 3-speed manual transmission along with a 12-volt conversion, modern alternator and radiator, rebuilt suspension, and other updates. The cosmetic restoration took place between 1999-2005 and involved stripping the existing paint as well as rust repair using components from another truck.
