Description:
This car is a sweet 1953 Pontiac Chieftan. It has an 8 cylinder flathead with manual 3-speed on the column. Excellent clutch and synchronizers - shifts beautifully. I replaced the muffler and pipes, spark plugs, front and rear brake drums. The seats are original and in perfect condition. I had the headliner, carpeting, side panels with piping, and trunk all professionally reupholstered. Otherwise it is garaged and has never been driven in the winter. No rust, good straight body, good paint. The "chief" hood ornament is intact and still lights up. All gauges work except gas gauge. Original radio works intermittently. Good tread on tires.
