The seller states that he’s had this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe for “more than 40 years,” and is “the second and fourth owner.” He goes on to say, “It’s a very nice driver that shows well, and everyone compliments it.” FEATURES The VIN does not identify the 442 option for 1967, as it wasn’t a separate model until 1968.However, on this Framingham-built 1967 car, the body data plate does.Code 5V on the Group 5 accessory line denotes 442 trim, thereby proving the car is a 442.The P that follows the 5V is for a trunk light.Also on the Group 2 accessory line are L—four-speed floor shifter, G—console, and R—rear speaker.However, the console is not in the car in the photos.The 1967 442s were based on Cutlass Supremes.Code 3817 on this car’s plate denotes the Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe.Its seller believes that the four-barrel, 400-cu.in. OHV V8 is original to the car.Stamping a partial VIN into the block did not start until 1968, so it can’t be definitively proven.However, the engine block casting number is 390925 E, which is correct for 1966-'67 442s.The 390925 E block was also used in the 1967 Turnpike Cruiser.According to the seller, the engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago and was bored .060 over.A new Holley four-barrel carburetor was installed.The front ball joints and springs, as well as the rear springs were replaced when the engine was rebuilt.The alternator looks like a recent replacement.The actual mileage on the car is unknown.No body damage is present.Code H-2 on the data plate identifies H—Aspen Green paint and 2—a black vinyl top.Per the seller, the car was refinished in silver and the vinyl top was replaced.The black vinyl bucket seat interior is code 970.A power front disc brake swap was performed and included drilled rotors.Super Stock wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
