In 1967 American muscle cars were ruling the U.S. highways. Thiswas just the right time for Pontiac to introduce something new,different and fast the Firebird. This '67 featuring a Crate 350 OHand 4-Speed manual is as Americana as it gets! 1967 Pontiac Firebird Sprint 230ci straight six with over head cam(OHC) delivered 215 HP. Very rare Firebird being one of only 1174Sprint Six Convertibles produced. The original numbers matchingstraight six has been maintained and is part of the purchase. TheFirebird is running a 6.7L crate 350 OH which produces 330 HP witha GM HEI ignition system. The engine and engine bay are fullydetailed and are show ready. The silver ceramic coated headersleading to 2.5" dual exhaust and Flo Masters gives a nice growl. A4-Speed manual Saginaw transmission with Hurst on the floorshifter. Power to the ground is thanks to a 10 bolt Safe-T-Trackdifferential geared at 3.55 with chrome cover and Pontiac badgedstainless steel bolts. The undercarriage has been strenthened by adding a Hotchkis Xbrace. All the suspension has been done so the Firebird rides likea dream. Power front disc brakes and rear drums. The power-assistedsteering makes driving and parking effortless. The Rally Cragar magwheels and white letter BF Goodrich P215/65R15 and P235/60R15 T/Atires gives an aggressive stance. The interior features front buckets and rear bench seat that areupholstered in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, doorpanels, and carpets. Has the center console with Hurst shifter,faux wood grain center stack trim, and original Delco push-buttonAM radio is in the dash. A new Pioneer AM/FM/CD player is mountedon the console and door mounted Pioneer speakers. Plus, a powerantenna. New Vintage USA gauges with speedometer, Tachometer, oilpressure, water temp, fuel and voltage meter. This cluster fits inthe original dash. All original gauges have been saved. New blackcanvas manual convertible top with glass rear window and a matchingcanvas boot cover. The Firebird is finished in Mitsbishi Fiji metallic blue andfeatures T-3 quad headlights, front and rear spoiler. All correctbadging for the Overhead Cam 3.8 Litre on hood and OHC 6 Sprint onthe lower rockers. All chrome is at show standards including brightwork. This is a multi winning first place as follows: Firebird bestin class Griot's Pontiac GMC, Yellowstone Rod Run, Fircrest RodRun, Rod Knockers Show, All Pontiac Show Wenatchee WA, AmericanMuscle Car Show of Tacoma WA (1967-2002 class).
