Description:
Restoration in 2004 included a repaint in blue, installing a 392ci V8, rebuilding the four-speed manual transmission, reupholstering the interior, and overhauling the brakes, the suspension, and the electrical system. Originally finished in Gulfstream Aqua, the body was repainted in Mercedes-Benz Bahama Blue and features factory-style satin black paint on the hood. Rust repair was carried out on the passenger-side front floor pan prior to the repaint. A front upper control arm drop and lowering springs were added to lower the car by 1″ front and rear, and the suspension overhaul included the installation of KYB shock absorbers, traction bars, and upgraded sway bars, as well as replacing the bushings, the control arms, and the front ball joints.
