This W460 was imported to the US and federalized in 2000by Europa International, who for many years was the exclusivesupplier of G-Wagens to the US market (at least until USMercedes-Benz dealers starting selling new G-Wagens in 2002).Finished in the very attractive shade of Agave Green, paint andbody are excellent with no known rust issues. Factory alloy wheelsare wearing BF Goodrich Baja tires, complete with a matching spareon a swing-away carrier. Front brush guard and supplementalbumper-mounted driving lights are welcome additions that are bothfunctional and stylish. Interior presents nicely with front buckets and rear jump seatsupholstered in grey leather. A gun rack has been mounted to thefloor between the front seats just aft of the center console. Amodern Continental stereo features Bluetooth, USB and aux input.All gauges, lights, switches and indicators are working properly.The five-digit odometer is showing just over 11,000 miles. Under the hood is a 2.8 liter gasoline-powered straight six matedto a four-speed manual transmission. Under present enthusiastownership for three years, all service is up to date. Sold on aclean and clear South Carolina title. Included with the sale arethe original sales invoice from Europa and service records datingto 2000. While we've owned and brokered many W460 and W463gelandewagens over the years, it's quite rare to see the soft-topcabriolet variant (the even more rare power-operated top debuted in1997 - prior to that, the manual top seen here was the onlyoption).
