1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit
Used 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit 2,500 miles, Silver
Growing-up in the 1920s and 1930s in an affluent neighborhood next to Llewellyn Park, NJ, as the son of the owner of a Rolls-Royce repair shop, a young man committed to himself to 1 day owning a Rolls-Royce. After graduating from The Naval Academy, joining The Marines and serving in WW II, the fellow married, started his own business, became very successful and, in late July, 1986, saw this car at his local Rolls-Royce dealership. Both husband and wife loved the Silver Sand body, Parchment leather piped in saddle brown with matching carpets and Mouton carpet overlays and fabulous inlaid burl walnut facia and interior trim, so, on July 31. 1986, they purchased this car from Regency Motors in Montclair, NJ, just a few miles from his fathers old shop. 1yr later, he and his wife liked this car so much that it became hers and he purchased a twin to it for himself. This couple spent eighteen years with both cars (each also had an every-day vehicle). Upon the death of the husband in 2005, his Rolls-Royce was sold and now, after another 7 years, his wife decided it was time to sell her car. Having never had any damage or paintwork whatsoever, being never driven in rain, only being hand-washed, being driven by her consistently @2500mis per year and being regularly dealer-serviced, the car remains in 100% original and absolutely pristine condition and drives as a new Rolls-Royce. All original manuals remain in their original binder, the original tool kit has never been unwrapped from its original plastic, the original spare tire has never been on the road and Rose, the cars only driver since 1987, wishes the car will find a caring home.
