This British Racing Green 1971 MGB Convertible, declared by the seller to run very well, is avowed to be “fun to drive” and “meticulously kept.” She states, “This is a well-kept, highly original 1971 MGB. The paint is in great shape, as are the chrome bumpers. The interior is a nice saddle colored vinyl that is in fantastic condition. Since we have owned the car, we have replaced the battery, alternator, and steering rack. We’ve also adjusted the gearbox and performed regular maintenance.” This garage-kept, black-grille, 1971 MGB Phase III roadster is located in Geneva, Illinois. FEATURES Claimed original to the car, a BMC Austin B-series 1.8-liter OHV inline-four is fitted.Twin SU HS4 carburetors manage aspiration.The engine was factory tuned for 92 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque.Electronic ignition has been installed.A four-speed manual transmission feeds the rear wheels.No weeps, leaks, or other powertrain maladies are cited.The British Racing Green paint is said to be in good condition.No crash damage or bodywork problems are reported.No dents, dings, leaks, or other body issues are apparent.The roof is said to be in good condition with no sags.The interior shows well with no blemishes apparent.Seats, carpets, trim, heat, and accessories are free of reported issues.Steering, suspension, and brakes have no declared concerns.Per the seller, the springs and bushings have been updated.The 14-inch wheels and beauty rings show a mild patina of age.
