Per the seller, this 1972 Ford Mustang SportsRoof is “in great condition. Its engine bay and undercarriage are spotless, and it has clean interior with new front seats.” The actual mileage on the car is not known. Code-63R on the door-mounted data decal denotes the Mach I. However, “02” in the VIN signifies a SportsRoof, whereas a Mach 1 would have had an "05" in the third and fourth characters of the VIN. The VIN also indicates that the original engine was a 302 V8, but a modified 351 Windsor V8 now provides added performance. FEATURES “F” in the VIN is for the two-barrel, 302-cu.in. OHV V8.A modified, four-barrel Windsor 351-cu.in. OHV V8 is currently in the car.A Ram Air system and under-hood visual upgrades were added.Dual exhausts were installed.The code-W transmission is the C-4 three-speed automatic.Code-6 reveals a 3:00:1-geared standard rear axle.At some point, this car was repainted by a previous owner.Code-6E Medium Bright Yellow is the present color.Black accent paint, stripes, and Mach I decals were also applied.Front and rear spoilers are present.The black vinyl interior presents well.The door panels were upgraded to those of the extra-cost interior.So too, were the new front seat covers.Aftermarket gauges and steering wheel were added.A JVC stereo was swapped in.Power front disc/rear drum brakes work as they should.Steel Magnum 500 Wheels wear Grand Sport Radial G/T tires. COMES WITH Records for some work done by the previous owner are included in the sale. NEEDS The car has a very minor oil leak, per the seller.“Small paint chips are on the driver’s door and also on the hood,” he says.The radio doesn’t work. OVERVIEW This Mustang sports a striking exterior color combination.Its 302 to 351 engine swap promises more power.The seller notes that it “runs really well.”He also says that the pony car “drives fantastic.” DOCUMENTATION The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean Texas title in his name.
