With 702 supercharged horses, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX typically wouldn’t be thought of as down on power, but the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 package upped the ante with more than 1,000 horsepower. That’s enough to enable mid-11-second quarter-miles blasts from the approximately 6,800-pound beast, according to published reports. This 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Hennessey Mammoth 1000 is “immaculate,” says the seller, who adds that he purchased the truck when it had only 97 miles on the odometer and sent it to Hennessey for the Mammoth makeover. It is said to be truck #32 of 200 built for the model year and now has less than 5,000 miles on the clock. “It has been a show truck and won the Best All American Truck award at the Goodguys event in Loveland, Colorado,” adds the seller. POWERTRAIN This Ram’s powertrain includes the Hennessey-modified 6.2-liter supercharged OHV V8 and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Hennessey’s mods include a larger, 2.65-liter supercharger, revised pulleys, fuel system upgrades, stainless headers, unique tuning, and more. It’s rated at 1,012 horsepower and 960 lb-ft of torque. The seller says the engine starts and runs without issue, while the transmission also shifts “like new,” sending torque to all four wheels through the TRX’s all-wheel-drive system. There are no powertrain leaks, says the seller. EXTERIOR “The [Bright White] paint is in excellent condition and has a full ceramic coating that was performed by Adam’s Polishes at their shop in Denver,” says the seller, who adds a “Stage 1” paint correction was also performed at the shop and that there are no blemishes in the finish. The other exterior trim, including Hennessey badging, plus the glass and seals are said to be in “like new” condition. All the lighting works normally. Additional upgrades include a clear front-end bra, tinted front windows, a bed liner, and a Bakflip tonneau cover. INTERIOR As with the powertrain and exterior, the Ram’s cabin appears showroom-fresh, from the distinctive black-and-red vinyl and cloth seat covers to the carpet, door panels, headliner instrument panel and other trim. It’s all “perfect” and “like new,” notes the seller, while all the power accessories are said to be in working order. The cabin’s roster of content also includes a flat-bottom steering wheel, an infotainment system with a 12-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The front-seat headrests also feature embroidered Hennessey logos. The seller notes the “black box” for the truck’s GPS needs to be replaced under warranty. The part has reportedly been ordered and it may be replaced by the auction’s close. CHASSIS According to the seller, the chassis, suspension, and braking elements are in as-delivered condition, with no known issues. The Mammoth 1000 package added 20-inch wheels with 35-inch-tall off-road tires, a lift kit, and a front-suspension leveling kit. All are said to be in “like new” condition, with no blemishes on the wheels. In fact, the seller says the wheels were ceramic-coated, along with the truck’s paintwork. The tires are only about a year old and have fewer than 5,000 miles on them. Their DOT date codes are not visible in the photos. DOCUMENTATION The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean Colorado title in his name, which will be provided upon satisfaction of the lien held by the financing bank. Additional documentation for this 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Hennessey Mammoth 1000 includes a clean Carfax report, along with paperwork from Hennessey. The base TRX offered a mere 702 horsepower, but with more than 1,000 horses on tap here, this example offers truly “mammoth” performance capability.
