This Dearborn Blue 1934 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan, with a tan mohair interior and maize pin stripes and wheels, is described by the seller as fully restored, coming previously from a large collection and “one of the nicest restorations I’ve ever owned.” The seller writes that presentation of the automobile is “excellent,” including the exterior and interior. The restored powertrain is believed to be original, and no needs are identified other than a bit of detailing of the powertrain and chassis. FEATURES The seller notes that this car “is a dream to drive.”New, the 221-cu.in. L-head V8 was rated at 85 horsepower and150lb-ft of torque.A three-speed manual transmission sends drive to the rear axle.The odometer reading of 928 is believed to be actual following the restoration.The Dearborn Blue finish, maize pin stripes, glass and chrome trim all shine brightly.Deluxe exterior trim includes the cowl lights, dual horns, and two taillights.“Everything is straight and perfect,” according to the seller.Only a small number of “hard to notice” stone chips are reported.The $60 additional cost for the Deluxe Tudor in 1934 also included an upgraded interior.Tan mohair material covers the seats, door panels, trim panels, and headliner.The window garnishes are painted with a woodgrain finish.The same finish is applied to the dashboard.All gauges, controls, and trim are complete and believed to be in working order.One crack is observed in the steering wheel.The front floor is covered with a fitted tan rubber mat.The rear floor is covered with tan carpet featuring bound edges.The undercarriage is also fully restored.Unidentified tires are mounted on correct 17-inch wire wheels. OVERVIEW The high level of restoration reflects the collection the car resided in.“Everything works perfectly and [the car] is a dream to drive,” says the seller.The exterior and interior restorations fresh.Slight signs of aging can be seen on the powertrain and undercarriage.The odometer reading shows that only 928 miles have been driven since the restoration. DOCUMENTATION The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean Pennsylvania title in his son’s name. Ford styling evolved rapidly throughout the 1930s and this restored 1934 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan is an excellent example. The seller remarks that he has several old cars that he enjoys touring with. He relates that he is listing this one for auction for the simple reason that, “I wouldn’t be comfortable touring with this one.
