Backing the engine is a close-ratio five-speed transmission, while the car itself has a lowered suspension and a chrome bumper conversion that gives it the more traditional look of pre-1974 models. The interior has also been updated with cloth seats and a modern radio. “With the supercharger, the engine pulls very hard and the performance is very strong,” says the seller. FEATURES Per the seller, the 1.8-liter OHV inline-four has approximately 4,000 miles on a rebuild.An Eaton M-45-based supercharger system produces about 4 pounds of boost.It is a draw-through type supercharger system paired with an SU carburetor.An available pulley enables 7 pounds of boost.The engine also has an electronic ignition system.A replacement radiator and electric fan were installed.Backing the engine is a rebuilt T9 close-ratio five-speed transmission.On the exterior, the factory rubber bumpers were swapped for early-style chrome bumpers.The bumper change included eliminating the side marker lights and filling the holes.Paint was blended into the existing finish after the body holes were filled.The yellow paintwork is said to be in "excellent" condition.The exterior chrome is said to be new, and the conversion included a Mk 1 grille.The rest of the body and chassis are said to be in "excellent, rust-free condition."Additionally, the top and boot cover are also said to be in good shape.The interior features gray, cloth-trimmed seats with black panels and complementing carpet.There’s also a wood instrument panel, wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a modern radio.The suspension was lowered to pre-1975 specs and features front and rear stabilizer bars.Poly front bushings, replacement springs, and replacement tie-rod ends were installed.The car also has power-assisted disc brakes.Wheels and tires include 15-inch Minilite-style aluminum wheels and 195/60R15 tires.
