For sale is my much loved Zermalt silver 1988 F Porsche 944 2.5S 16v. I acquired the car almost 2 years ago from an elderly friend who bought the car back in 1991 and kept dry stored ever since. As a result the car is in superb condition for its age and rust free. It has been used regularly through its life so does have some minor stone chips and has had a driver seat bolster repair (see pictures). It has been meticulously maintained by a local garage with receipts, MOT certificates, and part invoices dating back to 1988. During my ownership I have replaced the timing belts and auxiliary belts 18/11/21 94238miles, I have rebuilt the power steering pump and brake callipers, carried out full service including replacement of the cam cover gasket 20/12/22 95670miles, clutch master and slave cylinder replacement and most recently clutch kit and rear crankshaft oil seal 13/05/23 95710miles all using genuine Porsche parts where available although the clutch was sachs from design 911. It has only ever used Mobil 1 0w40 engine oil with recipes to prove. It has 95750 genuine miles from new. The MOT expires 21/11/23 however I aim to get 12 months before the car sells. The car comes with a huge folder of receipts and history including a copy of original bill of sale where the car sold for £30194.64 in 1988 and a newspaper clip from 1991 where my friend paid £16950. It has 2 keys with 3 original alarm fobs (alarm has been deactivated). It also comes complete with leather bag for roof panel, load cover, genuine Porsche floor mats, full tool kit, Porsche branded electric tyre pump and unused disposable gloves all stored with unused spare wheel. It has a working period correct Panasonic radio (with user manual) and electric aerial antenna. Electric roof works perfectly. I have taken the car on a few larger trips and local shows since owning it and it has never missed a beat. It does however have an intermittent fault with the oil pressure gauge occasionally.
