CUSTOM 1940 FORD PICK-UP The body is all steel with a 4" chop. The bed is finished with clear coated ash planks and polished stainless. The fuel fill cap and flange are polished billet. The ends o the bed rails are filled bith billet "Tear drops" With led lights that function as additional park signal and brake lights. The bumper bolts also have led lights Making the truck a little safer yet they're subtle. The front park and turn signal lights are incorporated into The original headlight bezels. Of course the 40 chevron tail lights with blue dots are on the rear fenders. The Two tone paint is accented by a double pinstripe that carries into the interior and cowl. The interior features Comfortable bucket seats, a center armrest, seat belts, bravo dvd/cd player, polk speakers, a power outlet, Hidden security switch, interior and map light, grant steeering wheel, tilt column, white autometer gauges with Tach, signal and high beam indicators all in a custom aluminum dash panel, a signal finder (kind of necessary With a chopped roof and looks neat too), aluminum window cranks, door handles, and padded door armrests. The Wiring is modern and a schematic is included. The engine is a 350 chevy crate motor with edelbrock Intake,carter afb, stock gm hei ignition with recent delco coil, pickup and module. It has chrome air cleaner, Valve covers (erson), timing cover and oil pan, chrome alternator (recent delco regulator, brushes, diode trio) And brackets, aluminum water pump pulley and 7 blade variable pitch fan blade, polished aluminum radiator cap, Chrome radiator and heater hose covers with polished stainless brachets. The wiring in the engine bay is hidden, Giving you a clean firewall and inner fenders. The transmission is a th 350 3 speed auto with frame mounted Cooler. The rear is a gm 10 bolt. The front suspension is chevy nova boxed at the front for strength and Appearance. The truck has weld racing wheels with center spinners. There is a heater and driver's side electric Windshield wiper. This 40 ford drives very well. Even though it doesn't have power steering it is easy to Steer. The ride is smooth and comfortable with penty of headroom. The great looking stance is low enough to let It handle through a corner with confidence. The small block chevy gives plenty of dependable power and runs on Regular gas. The cooling system keeps the gauge right at 190 degrees even when stuck in traffic. Clean title.
