1954 MGTF 1250 â�� Excellent Restored Condition! $27,500 Occasionally, an excellent example of a highly regarded British Sports Car become available for sale to the public. This 1954 MGTF 1250 has gone through a 2 year extensive mechanical, safety, and cosmetic restoration. The body and paint work alone cost over $10,000. I completed the restoration of TF1649 in 2021 and sold the car to an 81 year old gentleman living in Matthews, NC. The owner passed away and I am representing the car for the family living in Charlotte, NC. I have owned, serviced, and restored British sports cars for almost 50 years. I drove an MGA and Triumph TR3 to high school in the early â��70s. I restored this â��54 MGTF ground up and have refurbished dozens of British cars including MGTD, MGTC, TR4, and TR6. I know these cars as well as anyone and can attest that this restored 1956 MGTF 1250 is an exquisite example of what many consider to be the most desirable MG T-Series: The MGTF. The restoration story begins with Cardone and Daughter in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. David Cardone is a former British Leyland mechanic who started his highly regarded restoration and service shop around 1980. Cardone performed the following work in 2016. â�¢ Fuel Pump, Filter, Fuel Hoses & Lineâ�¢ Carb Overhauls incl.
