Less chrome also was toslowly become an industry standard and it was now used primarily asa body highlight and not purely for decoration. Powertrainsremained the same as the in '59 although this was the last yearthat a 2barrel or 3x2 barrel 'Tri-Power' carburetor was offered.This would also be the last year for the wrap around windshieldstyling. In 1960 Cadillac was the ultimate GM jewel outsellingLincoln, Chrysler amp; Imperial combined!The Harley Earl designedCadillac Series 62 was a large luxurious Cadillac that could easilycarry six people and had a power top, air suspension and featured alarge 6,390 cc (390 c.i.) V8 engine with drum brakes. The marquewas discontinued 1964.The 390 V8 engine is extremely strong andpowerful and sounds absolutely magnificent!
