In Canada in the Sixties, GM's Oshawa plant produced Chevrolet andPontiac models and the full-size Pontiacs such as this 1964 PontiacParisienne Custom Sport Convertible shared much of theirfundamental components with the Chevys, including the chassis andpowertrain. That means the Chevy 409/425 engine is correct in thiscar. In fact, it's one of less than 20 known built with thisparticular powertrain. The seller reports a six-year restoration onthe car was completed in 2017 and it remains in "show-winningcondition."
