We havechecked the numbers on this car. The stamping on the engine reads"7E 1126-9." The body number is "4E 20081," the 4E is correct for aFixed-head Coupe. The chassis number, "30043," is stamped on theright frame rail and the data plate. All of these numbers arecorrect and match the Trust Certificate.This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare and highlydesirable classic Jaguar. The market on Jaguar E-Type's is very hotright now, especially for nice examples like this car. One couldeasily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchaseprice in years to come. Exterior The green metallic exterior is in beautiful driver qualitycondition. As one can see in the photos the finish has dazzlinggloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. The chrome and brightwork onthe car looks stunning with a bright and brilliant finish. The wirewheels and spinners are in excellent condition with a great finishand no curb rash. The tires have plenty of tread left and are sized185/65R15. There are no major blemishes that have beenintentionally excluded from the photos, there may be a few tinyimperfections that were too small to show up in the photos, butnothing that is noticeable from about five feet away. Interior The tan leather interior of the Jaguar looks utterly splendid. Thequality of the workmanship and materials is top-notch. The seatsare in excellent condition with no split seams, rips, or hardly anywear at all. The carpet is also in great condition with no stains,rips, or holes. The dash is in nice condition with no sun fading,but does have a couple cracks. The gauge faces are clean and thelenses are clear. The door panels look excellent. This car has notbeen smoked in; there are obviously no burn marks or aroma ofcigarettes what-so-ever.The trunk is very clean, highly detailed, and well-trimmed with amatching full size spare tire and matching chrome wire wheel. Mechanical This Jaguar E-Type seems to be in good mechanical condition. Theinline six engine starts every time and idles smooth. The cardrives nicely on the road and at highway speeds. In the video belowone can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about70mph, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves.Please note that there are no vibrations and the car performs quitewell overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one sideor the other. The transmission shifts well, the shifter is tight,and does not pop out of gear. The clutch feels good. The headlightsand taillights work as do the horn, radio, and odometer work. Thereare some items that do not work such as the blower for the heater,wipers, turn signals, and the gauges. The brake light on the dashstays on. As with many other older carbureted cars it is coldblooded, but has started every time for us when the choke is usedproperly. The car idles smooth, but will sometimes break up athigher rpm's. Also, the engine compartment is very correct as onecan see in the photos. Not enough can be said as to how much of apleasure it is to drive this Jaguar Fixed Head Coupe. Overall Condition Overall, this 1965 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe is in marvelousdriver quality condition. The low miles, nice condition, the rarebody style, Trust Certificate, and the beautiful color combinationmake this car especially important and difficult to duplicate. ThisJaguar always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It isvery apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by itsprevious owners.
