This is a 1979 Corvette. This is not a collector car and not an original numbers matching car. It was originally an L-82 350, but now has a 383 stroker, TH350 automatic, and a 3.55 posi. This car has been professionally built, dyno tuned, and is a excellent driver. The dyno results showed 400HP@5300 RPM and 440FTLbs torque @4300 RPM. Most of this car is new or rebuilt including suspension, brakes, front rack, engine, radiator, and transmission. This is an A/C car, however the compressor and hoses were missing, and have not been replaced. The interior is in very good condition, with many parts being replaced. No rips in seats, new carpet and floor mats. Power windows work. A Sony CD/MP3 player with IPOD and JBL speakers installed. I have not completed everything. The gauges still need work, speedo, oil pressure, and clock does not work. The headlights work and raise as they should, but are slow due to camshaft low vacuum. The paint looks great from 10 foot away, and I have included pics of the bad spots door handle & nose. It has mirrored glass T-Tops. A lot of time and expense has been put into this project. If you have ever built a car, look at the parts list, and figure in assembly cost. It is not a show car, but is really fun to drive and will easily outperform most street cars. It looks great and sounds great. I dont need the money, and dont have to sell it. So if you do not want to make a reasonable offer, dont waste my time or yours. If you have an interesting trade, show it to me. I am interested in other corvettes and jeeps.
